Bandsaw Box Workshop | 9 am – 4 pm | Glen Foerd 5001 Grant Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19114

*Registration for this workshop closes September 23, 2022

Bandsaw boxes are fun and verstile projects that push the boundaries and constraints of typical box making. A perfect project for novices and experienced woodworkers alike, they are made from a single block of wood. Various forms and textures can be explored just by using the bandsaw and few other machines and hand tools.

In this one day workshop, participants will learn safe practices in the studio while creating their own unique box. During the morning session, participants will design, cut, and assemble the pieces for their box.
The afternoon session will focus on sanding, texturing, paints, and finishes.

Tara Bellofatto is a Craft + Material Studies/Woodworking graduate of the University of the Arts. Her design style is eclectic, inspired by various artistic movements and pop culture references. Formerly a lecturer and studio technician at the university, she currently practices out of her home studio in Southern New Jersey.
