Our permanent collection consists of over 1,200 objects from around the world, and encompasses works of art, craft, and design in a wide range of approaches, including sculpture, handmade design, installation, works on paper, and new media. The collection serves to interpret, present, and conserve the history and evolution of wood turning wood working from an industrial craft into a contemporary art form. The Center’s collection is open by appointment to researchers, students, and the general public. You can view Recent Acquisitions and a selection of Collection Artwork on this page.
