Free

International Women’s Day | at The Center for Art in Wood Sat, March 7, 2020 | 2 – 4 pm

Join us for a conversation and celebration of women. Hear from women of United Stateless and Nationalities Service Center in reflection of the current exhibition Humaira Abid: Searching for Home. Enjoy live performances by poet Kadidja Cisse and musician Reese Florence Coran accompanied by light fare and wine.

This event is free to the public. The Center for Art in Wood interprets, nurtures, and champions creative engagement and expansion of art, craft, and design in wood to enhance the public’s understanding and appreciation of it. A suggested donation of $5 per person enables us to provide programs and exhibitions throughout the year.

For questions, contact Katie Sorenson, Community Engagement Manager at katie@centerforartinwood.org or 215-923-8000 ext 103.
