Learn how to carve a spoon out of a freshly cut greenwood with just a couple of hand tools. In this workshop, you will be making a traditional Swedish spoon which will give you a better understanding of the design of utilitarian wooden objects. You will also learn to safely use the following wood carving hand tools, the hook knife, whittling knife, and hatchet. During the course of the day, you will enjoy the pleasant nature of working with greenwood with its clean wood shavings without the mess of sawdust.
